Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains what information the game Lane Rippers ("the game", "we") collects, why, and what you can do about it. Lane Rippers is made by Kaizen Interactive, the game studio of Roberto Ortis, based in Venezuela. If you have any question, write to privacy@lanerippers.com.
What we collect
- Account details. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an account ID from them and, if you allow it, your email address. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your real email; we then get a private relay address instead. If you play as a guest, we create a random player ID.
- Your player profile. The player name you choose, your country (to place you in country rankings), your avatar and the cars and items you own.
- Game data. Races played, results, lap times, trophies, league, rankings, and your balance of in-game items such as watts and juice.
- Purchases. If you buy something in the game, Apple handles the payment. We only receive a receipt that confirms what was bought, never your card details.
- Technical data. To connect you to our race servers we see your IP address and basic device information (device model, system version, game version). We may also receive crash reports to fix bugs.
How we use it
- To run online races: matchmaking, lobbies, results and rankings.
- To save your progress and let you continue on another device.
- To deliver purchases and keep the game fair (for example, to spot cheating).
- To fix bugs and improve the game.
- To answer you when you contact support.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to show you targeted advertising.
What other players can see
Your player name, avatar, country flag, league, trophies, rankings and race results are visible to other players. Your email address and account IDs are never shown.
Who else handles your data
- Apple and Google, when you sign in with them, under their own privacy policies.
- Apple, for in-app purchases.
- DigitalOcean, which hosts our game servers and database.
These providers only process data to provide their service to us. Your data may be stored on servers outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and game data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days. Anonymous race statistics that can no longer identify you may be kept. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time from inside the game, or by following the steps on our account deletion page.
- See or correct your data: write to privacy@lanerippers.com and we will reply within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law (for example the GDPR in Europe or privacy laws in California). Contact us to use them.
Children
Lane Rippers is suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access to our servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell you in the game if the change is important.
